I turned it down myself because One it's more than likely a duplicate from a troll. 2 I subbed that a long time ago as a portal. It also really is at the local crack hotel.
Inspiring. Tragedy and hope, perfectly captured. What signifies decline better than a run down hotel, the last place to stay on earth. The fountain: an ornament of hopelessness. If you listen closely you can hear it saying, all your efforts are in vain, here even the fountains go wrong. But perhaps the message is one of hope. We are out of luck. We are in a depressing place. But, we will still put a fountain here. Because we are not going away, we are not going to give up, and if all else goes to hell, we will still have a fountain. A monument to human struggle against all odds.

ReplyDeleteMy submission is called dumpy hotel fountain. It really exists... Both fountains. Don't stay at that hotel unless you're desperate.
