Now, this thing is obviously not at this location; how did they get the watermark on the photo? I've seen several different watermarks (some of the same style meaning from the same submitter probably), so how are they doing it? Is it emulation and spoofing?

    Another way is installing "Fake camera" app from Play Market and choose it when you are ready to "take a photo". Instead of creating a new one you have to choose an existing photo from your gallery and just to send it for a review like a new photo.

    And also in earlier versions of Ingress app sending any picture from gallery via share button was a default feature. Maybe that portal candidate is too much time in review list.
